Bailiffs: Approaching your local councillor

If you are facing severe hardship and you have bailiffs calling about unpaid council tax, you can approach your local councillor and to the Council Chief Executive, explain your circumstances and ask them to stop the action and agree a repayment plan.

I know this is something I need to pay of, but I am a vulnerable person, (*or in receipt of benefits) which means I cannot afford the pay the bailiffs £310 fees they are demanding from me. I would be very grateful if you could arrange to take the case back to town-hall administration and out of the bailiffs hands, and I would be more than able to directly pay the council what I owe at £50 a month
